Founded in 2016, La Finca is centrally located on Panama's most beautiful beach.
Surrounded by the jungle, with a great ocean-view, La Finca is a place for those who love barefoot living and low-key luxury.

Our Story
It all started with a surf trip... While searching the Pacific Coast for uncrowded waves back in 2011, co-founder Sean kept hearing the name "Cambutal" mentioned in conversations. Cambutal: a hint, a promise, a wink of something great. Eventually he found his way to the very sleepy, and very beautiful town he now calls home. It was love at first sight. He immediately fell in love with lush green hills that met seamlessly with the black sand beaches, and thought... "This was the place he had been looking for." So he called his sister, Abby, who had recently finished traveling/living abroad, and was trying out life back in the USA. After a quick trip down to Cambutal, she joined the dream and they both decided... Why not? The rest is La Finca history.

Do you have Wi-Fi at La Finca?Yes, we have High-Speed Fiber Optic Internet throughout the property, in the common areas and in each guest room. If you are working remotely or just like to stay busy on vacation, La Finca has you covered. With several networks provided for connection, our speeds are consistent.

What time is Check-In & Check-Out?Check-In Check in time at La Finca is 3 pm or later. Please let us know what time you will arrive so we can meet you and show you to your room. If you prefer a contactless check-in, let us know and we can leave you directions to your room. Early check-ins are possible depending if the room was rented the night before, so please contact us ahead of time and we'll do our best! You are more than welcome to store your luggage at La Finca if you arrive early and go for lunch or a beach walk! Check-Out Check-out time is 12pm. Should you require a later check-out we will do our best but you need to let us know beforehand. If guests are arriving the same day, we will need enough time to clean the room for them.

Do you take credit cards?Yes, we accept cash, bank transfer, and credit cards (+ 3% fee applies).

Is La Finca pet-friendly?Yes, we love animal guests at La Finca! We do require a $20 fee per pet, and ask that you keep animals on a leash at all times in respect to other guests, other pets, and our La Finca resident chickens!
